Jeśka (“Yesh-ka”) is an actress, producer and action performer, trained in South Africa, New York City and London.
She can be seen playing ‘Gill’ in Netflix fantasy series Half Bad, special action in Slow Horses (Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas; Apple TV+) and most recently in Secret Invasion (Disney+). On the horizon, Jeśka will be seen in Masters of the Air (Apple TV+), CIA operative in Our Man From Jersey (Mark Wahlberg, Halle Berry), Heads of State (Idris Elba, John Cena) as well as an undisclosed Marvel and George Lucas productions, TX 2024.
She has also acted as a stunt performer in commercials such as Sky Cinema and Strava and will be seen as a stunt double and performer in upcoming film The Buckingham Murders.
2021 saw her in Twist (Rafferty Law, Michael Caine, Lena Headey), The Great Season 2 and 3 (Nicholas Hoult, Elle Fanning) and The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (with Benedict Cumberbatch) as well as Hunted and Scott James' Train Hard, Fight Easy, released 2020.
2019 saw her in several episodes of Netflix series The Crown, as well as Scott James’ action short film Minute Man and English comedy sitcom, The Band.
She also appeared as 'Monica Cole' in award-winning Steve Rahaman’s action drama Pain. As well as her film and television work, her theatre credits include the passionate and tragic heroine, ‘Adela,’ in The House of Bernarda Alba, ‘Clytemnestra’ in the brilliant Geoffrey Hyland’s Agamemnon and strong-willed ‘May’ in Sam Shepard’s A Fool for Love.
Jeśka also completed a successful run of self-created and produced one-man show, Green-Eyed Monster at the Camden Fringe Festival. She is highly trained in screen fighting and firearms for film, has her divemaster qualification and a black belt in karate.
